EMBA cohort hosts talent show fundraiser for Pencils of Promise

On 8 September 2018, the EMBA Class of 2017 hosts a Pencils of Promise (PoP) charity talent show at Peterhouse, Cambridge.

The evening will include food, fun, and dance as students from both 2017 and 2018 cohorts put their hidden talents on display.

PoP is a non-profit organisation that builds schools and increases educational opportunities in the developing world and has built over 450 schools and educated 93,000 students in Ghana, Guatemala, and Laos over the past 10 years.

Proceeds from the charity event will go towards the PoP fundraising effort. Students of Harvard Business School and Stanford Graduate School of Business have selected PoP for their fundraising efforts and this year, Cambridge EMBA students are joining in this worthy cause.

Please join us in supporting PoP by making a donation: https://fundraise.pencilsofpromise.org/team/182757

This sounds more like a fun-raiser! I would love experience it. I hope you raise a billion dollars. I didn’t know about this PoP but I plan to look further into it. Thanks for sharing.
